1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ORANGE HIRE (orangehireltd.com and any related services), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use ORANGE HIRE. Continued use of the platform after any changes means you accept the updated terms.
This is a legal agreement. We've written it in plain language to make it easy to understand, but it is still a binding contract.
2 Who Can Use ORANGE HIRE
To use ORANGE HIRE, you must meet all of the following:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be legally able to enter into binding contracts under Nigerian law
- Not be banned from using ORANGE HIRE or any related service
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering
We reserve the right to refuse service, close accounts, or restrict access to anyone at any time for any lawful reason.
3 Your Account
You are responsible for everything that happens under your ORANGE HIRE account. Keep your password secure and never share your login details.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information — no fake names, emails, or phone numbers
- Keep one account per person (or one per business)
- Never sell, rent, or transfer your account to someone else
- Notify us immediately if your account is compromised
- Verify your email address to unlock full features
Creating multiple accounts to bypass limits or spread spam will get all your accounts permanently removed.
4 Posting Listings
When you post a listing on ORANGE HIRE, you confirm that everything in it is accurate and that you have the legal right to sell or rent the item.
Every listing must:
- Be in the correct category
- Use photos you own or have permission to use (no stock images pretending to be real)
- Show the real price in Nigerian Naira (₦)
- Include an accurate description — condition, size, location, etc.
- Comply with all Nigerian laws
You may NOT post listings that:
- Are duplicates of another listing
- Contain false, misleading, or deceptive claims
- Use another user's photos without permission
- Advertise the same item in multiple categories
- Contain spam, external links, or ads for other marketplaces
5 Prohibited Items
To protect our community and comply with Nigerian law, the following items can never be listed on ORANGE HIRE:
- Firearms, ammunition, and explosives
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances
- Counterfeit goods, fake documents, or stolen property
- Human beings, organs, or human tissue (human trafficking)
- Endangered wildlife, animal parts (ivory, etc.)
- Adult content, sexual services, or escort services
- Hacked accounts, stolen data, or illegal software
- Prescription medicines without authorization
- Government IDs, passports, or driving licences
- Currency (physical or digital) and cryptocurrency
- Tickets to events you don't legally own
- Anything else illegal under Nigerian law
Posting any prohibited item will result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to Nigerian authorities.
6 User Conduct
ORANGE HIRE is a community. Please treat every user with respect and deal honestly.
You agree NOT to:
- Harass, threaten, insult, or defame other users
- Post racist, sexist, tribal, or hateful content
- Impersonate ORANGE HIRE, our staff, or another user
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the platform
- Try to hack, breach, or overload our systems
- Send spam or unsolicited commercial messages
- Collect other users' data without their permission
- Manipulate reviews, ratings, or view counts
7 Transactions
ORANGE HIRE is a marketplace — we connect buyers and sellers but we are not part of any transaction between them.
We don't handle payments, deliveries, or guarantees. Any transaction is strictly between you and the other party — inspect items carefully and follow our Safety Tips.
We do our best to keep the platform safe, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of listings, the honesty of users, or the quality of any item or service.
8 Fees & Subscriptions
Browsing ORANGE HIRE is always free. Posting is free up to a limit, with optional premium plans for serious sellers.
Free Plan
- 5 free active listings per account
- Standard visibility in search
- Basic messaging and support
Paid Plans
- Higher or unlimited listings
- Featured placement in search
- Advanced analytics and priority support
Subscription fees are charged in Nigerian Naira and are non-refundable unless required by law. You can cancel at any time — cancellation stops the next renewal.
9 Intellectual Property
The ORANGE HIRE name, logo, design, and code are our property. You may not copy, modify, or use them without written permission.
When you post content (photos, descriptions, etc.), you keep ownership of that content — but you grant ORANGE HIRE a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, promote, and share it on our platform and marketing channels.
10 Limitation of Liability
ORANGE HIRE is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, error-free, or free of harmful content.
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, ORANGE HIRE and its team are not liable for:
- Losses from transactions between users
- Fraud committed by other users (always follow safety tips)
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profit, data, or business opportunities
- Technical outages, downtime, or data loss
- All disputes arising from user interactions
11 Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you:
- Break any of these Terms & Conditions
- Post prohibited items or scam listings
- Harass or defraud other users
- Attempt to hack or abuse the platform
- Use ORANGE HIRE for illegal activity
You can also close your account at any time from your dashboard. Some data may remain in backups for a limited period as required by law.
12 Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or Nigerian law. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Significant changes will be announced on the platform. Continuing to use ORANGE HIRE after a change means you accept the new terms.
13 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by the courts.
